Rosseau -> RE: Making History The Great War (2/2/2015 10:56:21 PM)

I bought it in early access for $15. However, $40 is a significant investment - you can get FPRS for $50. Having said that, they have improved the Events engine to make things a bit more historical. Also, battles last several turns now. In MHII, it was like you were playing Risk much of the time. One-turn battles with little opportunity to reinforce. Also, they have always been quite active with patches, so support should be good. The editor also seems to be working, but with a few minor glitches. The Steam forum is a good place for more info, obviously. The game plays quickly and easily, especially if you know MHII. Would I pay $40 for it today? Probably.
