I have been having trouble getting the 8th to fly a maximum effort strike.
All I can get is 360 bombers.I set strike number to 1,min.ac to 1 and req.to 999
no go only 360,with these same settings bc flies over 800.
Set req.to 1200 same result.Must be doing something wrong.

I noticed you had the same problem in one of your aar's.

I think it is addressed in the internal test version. I am not sure when it will be out for public however.

Wondering how jocmeister got over 800 to fly for the 8th in his aar?

Yes 300% of what???strike of 1 and req.1200 I tried I strike,300%min. and 1200 req.same result 360 bmrs.but escorts stayed the same at 202.
Could a dev.explain????

My understanding is that there is a fix for the flight forming code. In the latest test version I am able to get larger raids with no problem. 360ish or so is my best with .11

I am using .13b and all I get is 144 esc 360 bmr.
I ran a test using latest turn.turned off all ad but 8th.used default settings,manually chose all bmr and esc.
Result 144-360.Then tried stk-1,min-1,req-999,result 144-360.tried stk-1,min-1,req-1200,result 144-360.
Then used joc's advise set miss.pct.in doctrines to 300% used same settins as last test,result,144-360.
This is a 0 hex range single day attack on hamburg.bc flies satisfactorly at 100% interestling enough.
Another interesting thing,on looking at detailed battle info,12 Bulgarian d-520's and 34 romanien I.A.R 80's assisted
in the defense.Outstanding support from a minor ally!

The problem may be if you're only targetting a 0 or 1 size Area. There are limited number of targets, so the game only sends a certain number of planes.

For the Escorts, don't bother messing with the Min and Req. I've never found them to have a positive effect, and if anything a negative effect. Set both Mission AC and Escort AC on the Air Doctrine screen to 300%, and thaty should solve the Escort issues.
