During set of the Commonwealth, I saved the two NEI oil in Malaya by convoy through the South China Sea. I then began to diddle with my production, just trying to make sure that this was the default for these resources. I clicked one of the Palembang resources and it went to "Idle". Magically the Tarakan oil appeared and found its way to Manchester, yet this resource is listed as Japanese and I cannot affect it.

What's more, I can not save either of the Palembang oils. My convoys no longer show as unused and one of the Palembang oil won't let me even clear the Default and Override.

I have save files if desired. The picture shows what the oil resources look like at the start of the Commonwealth setup and what it looks like after the mystery event.

The game seems to want to always give the Palembang oil to Japan. Things work OK if you just let it do that and take the other two for the CW.

I can't. For some reason the game still shows the two convoys in the South China Sea as used. Even if I edit the route, they won't go to port.

That's strange behaviour. Can you put the game save in here?

It's a minor bug, which corrects itself the moment the Japanese convoys have been set up to get the NEI oil to Japan...

Ah, so during the Commonwealth setup the Commonwealth convoys are confused and trying to carry the resources to Japan and it all clears up after the Japanese set up.
