As in the pic,

after more 1 year after Rome beachs invasion, the AI, every day bomb with plane South Italy, but donīt occupe the land. Very unreal.

Interesting, I've had the Allies avoid the toe and put in a 10 Div plus landing between Civitavecchia & Anzio in Dec43/Jan44.

However they sent a force to clear Wehrmacht forces around Naples/ Foggia, could be they chase any units but leave it alone if empty??

Odd that the WA control hexes aren't pushing south if there are no Ge present...

Warspite - I thought that too until I realized they are not isolated because of open ports.
