I am in the middle of a game - Sept 9th 1944 playing the Allies - the 9th US Air Force has stopped flying.
They fly zero missions, when I go to the manually assign screen, the 9th does not even show up.
When I go to the show where the air forces are flying screen, the 9th does not show up.
I have played before and the air force was always there, any ideas what might be wrong.
I don't notice any difference between the 9th and the 2nd RAF which does fly.

Do you have a 9th AF HQ? Can you attach a save to a post in this thread (start of turn save), or email it to 2by3@2by3games.com.

I got your saves. I deleted some air directives and then created a new one. Ran the game and the 9th AF was still there. When does it disappear, right after the air execution phase or during the AI turn/allied logistics phase? Can you send me a save where all I have to do is end the phase and the 9th AF will disappear? I'll probably need that since I can't get this problem to repeat.
