Another way to keep an interactive game going without emails is to use the instant text messaging on Skype. We find it is actually easier and quicker. Set up a group call so anytime there is any activity in it, you know it's for the game in progress. Depending how you use your computer and whether your email is web-based or a computer client program, you may see and be able to respond to these messages faster than by email. As there are now 5 of us playing, we also have two groups - one of 2 Axis and one of 3 Allies, where quick strategy "summits" can be held.

Sounds cool paul, but way over my head [:(] hopefully you can play the game by netplay soon, it would make things a lot easier.[;)]

Just to echo Warspite1's comments about playing via E-mail, I am finding this working very well. It works best during combat rounds if you can both be online together to respond to the various choices the non-phasing player is called upon but isn't crucial. When you are both online, it's how I imagine Netplay would be except for some extra time delay as E-mails go back and forth or the AAR is refreshed.

I find Solitaire mode, and so far Hot-seat mode, eminently playable. Yes there are still bugs and some irritations but not to the extent of it being unplayable. I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy the product ever since I purchased it and am grateful to the on-going support to refine the product.

This game is a serious delight, yes some bug, but don't all games have them?

There are bugs and there are bugs. I believe that any bug which stops the program needs to be fixed. Now, if something isn't totally right cosmetically, I won't care about that at all. Same with some minor things which might be overlooked because they really are not effecting gameplay in a large way.

Oh God! Why do you keep feeding the trolls? Or troll: Crusss I'm talking about you. He comes in, talks bad about the game and he's out again. I came in to find out if the bug I'm getting (I bought the game two weeks ago! yay!) has been solved. And it has! Yay times two!

But I didn't expect this! It's reminds me of concern trolling laced with gish galloping. Bo, I sincerely wish for constructive criticism and everybody has the right to say that, but you can't have that from Crusss. He just fills the air with his venom. I know your concern back when (3-5 years ago) and I know you for constructive critique.

If you can't say something nice you should keep it to yourself......or give con.critique (preferably with a smiley).[:)]

I'm happy because the bug has been solved, but I'm unhappy because the troll has derailed this part of the forum yet again. Please! Don't feed the troll!
