CW chooses box 3 and nothing happens. Next round rolls: Allied 10, Axis 4 and "combat" is over. In Eastern Mediterranean CW initiates combat and intercepts Beaufort to box 2. I believe Italy intercepts fighter to box 0? EDIT: Does Italy want to keep subs in the bottom or come to surface for combat?

I had 1 NAV, 1 Ship and 1 sub. I guess it doesn't matter now with this result :)

With roll 7 CL takes another D and goes to bottom of the sea. I can feel that it is time for Allies to roll 1 and put Italian troops OOS in Africa...

Western Med rolls: Axis 7, Allied 4. CP survived first impulse. France rails Marseilles MIL to Lille. USSR rails another GARR to Vladivostok. France is trying to make the line strong enough. No attacks. CW rebases Spitfire in South Africa to same hex with transporter.

M/J 1940 Axis 7 No Dow Germany Combined, Italy Land, Japan Combined. Germany puts a U-boat in the North Sea 3-box. Japan moves 3 CL to the Japanese Coast. Do the USSR subs wish to intercept?

The CL's stop in the 0-box. An Amph sails into the China Sea and loads a 6-4 Inf from Japan. The U-boat initiates searching in the North Sea. Do the CW wish to add any extra air?

The U-boat captain decides travelling on the surface with no look-outs would be a novel way of surprising the enemy. Once the CW had picked themselves off the floor and regained a serious composure, Darwin's Law kicked in on such a creative mutation (searches Axis 9, CW 1; enough said).
