ORIGINAL: blueatoll So about 6 weeks ago (gametime), I did some raids against mainland Japan with my CV TFs. The planes got mauled a bit, remarkably with few pilot losses, and they have been holed up in Level 9 port (w/a Theater HQ AND a Fleet HQ) since then. I'm about to start sortieing the fleet again and I'm reviewing my CV air groups. I've got no more than 98 planes on my main US CVs (with almost all below 90) but almost 1/2 of my fighter compliment is 'in reserve'. The planes have all been on the carriers for at least 5 weeks. I don't feel comfortable only having 36 active fighters (with another 30 in storage?) on my CVs. I can't figure out how to tell my air crews to get the planes out of their crates. I've got a full pilot compliment and a bazillion supplies/fuel in port. What the heck is going on? What color is the aircraft capacity/used number? If its red/orange I think it means you are over the number the carrier is capable of operating and repairs will not occur. Here’s a shot of the Yorktown in the Downfall scenario, it starts with too many planes: Jim [image]local://upfiles/5815/481BE382FD2B4E6D9AE5ECFEC9C85896.jpg[/image]
