Best thing you can do for yourself is to take some of Qball's advice and pull back to Cassino, with forts. Leave some divisions to hold that, or slow his advance to a crawl, but if you can hold Naples till Jan 44, do it. After Jan it's almost worthless as points a turn. You need to be preparing for his next invasion, and get those extra units into garrison areas to increase your vp's. You'll need those men so don't burn them out down there. I usually leave mountain and FJ units down there to hold, and honestly 12 divisions is too many. You really only need 4-6 depending on what he has, but you need to break them down and have two good Korps commanders to hold that line.

I'm thinking they are giving you bum advice ..... I say hold on the open ground ......

Defensive line back to the mountains. Can still shrink it farther and free up a few more divisions but Naples is still in German hands. We like it there. Nice city.

haven't you heard the expression ..... See Naples and Die ..... ?

Guessing the 15th AF needs to pay you an up close and personal visit as a reminder .......
