mx1 -> [FIXED 1.11] - Support mission transit speed (3/14/2015 12:34:06 PM)

It looks like the version 1.07 broke the support mission transit speed setting. Despite setting transit throttle to "Flank" or "Full" units use station throttle for transit. Transit throttle setting used to work well in 1.06. Attaching simple scenario with just one unit on support mission.

We'll take a look. Thanks!

The bug is still there in build 757.12 (v 1.092). It seems that transit throttle sets station throttle and vice versa.

ok sorry. I'll let the guys know.

Now, after some more tests with support missions, I think it is more related to the fact that station speed kicks in well before reaching first reference point. So this is not mix up of speeds in the interface but design issue. In my first example the distance between starting point of the mission and target reference point was smaller than 10 miles so the station speed kicked in immediately after mission start.
Anyway this is a bug in my opinion since 'station' should really mean it - not 'approach to station'. And if it is design that there is definitely a need for a mission type when we have full freedom in controlling speed and altitude as explained in 'helos and Ospreys' thread in this forum.

Got it. Thanks
