Felcas -> Submarine diesel/elect. improvement?! (3/19/2015 10:07:50 PM)

Situation: I have my submarine S61Delfin it is a diesel/electric class. I have a group of enemy vessels that I need to intercept. I ploted my interception course and what I think is the best place to be, withing 4mn north of the group when they get there. However I need to speed up, my sub is at 5knots (CRUISE) and the group of vessel is at 14knots, otherwise I risk not being at the spot when the group is there. My batteries are less then half and it says I have 9 hours and 49 minutes (which is really strange since I am not playing more then 3 hours - zulu time reference) PROBLEM: I try to speed up to FULL, that would give me 11knots, BUT the endurance would then drop to 1 hour and 34 minutes, which is not acceptable, 1:34 will place me halfway to my spot and I will be dead in the water, since I can't run generators when enemy is nearby, even if I could that would be damn dumb. The solution as I thought would be to lower the speed and find one that would give me enought endurance to get to spot and still have some juice left to evade enemy fire if my position is uncovered. Then I tried to manually fill 10, 9, 8 , 7 , 6 knots, in the manual override box, but no speed I select will recalculate the endurance. It doesnt make sense. Also, in the THROTTLE & ALTITUDE SETINGS WINDOW we have in the bottom the WAYPOINT calculation. which says fuel qty required, but we dont use fuel when using electrical. I would like to suggest improvement on this, showing the Unit fuel in watts or the more adequate energy unit for those that use batery and the respective fuel qty required correction for energy required. Thanks a lot!
