I have had a BB TF lose to a PT TF so I don't have to be convinced. But in your case, the DD was outnumbered and surrounded.

Is pun intended here?:D

Uh oh, I notice that this combat took place at the dreaded "0,0" location. Are we looking at a bug here?

Heh, actually no.. ;) I'm playing against Dascateer and I thought it would be appropriate to try this out with exactly that DD.. ;D

Dunno. The location is Irau, so I'm just guessing that the combat-report is ****ed up.

Anyways, due to a crash I had to replay the turn and to my amazement 20mm Oerlikons fly through my DD's belt armour like a hot knife through butter.

I think PT's are a tad too effective.. ;)

Not real surprise. DD Kamikaze was pretty obsolete in 1942. It was commissioned on Dec. 12, 1922. It's armament included
4-12cm/45cal gun, 2-7.7mm MG, 6-53cm TT (2x3), 20 mines.
In real life it survived the war.:)

Now, now. Don't be bitter. It is unbecoming.

I was rather impressed as I saw all of those 20 mm rounds slicing through your belt and tower armor doing catastophic damage. Could not even watch all of the replay seeing that ship and all of those poor Jap sailors suffering like that.

:p
