ORIGINAL: Zovs Ok my math was off, sorry 😂 Not your math - likely you looked at the top of a post for the post number, but the post # is at the bottom of the post. You forget, he is a DAT! Then again, you are not a US Navy pilot. I wonder if this qualifies as a good landing . . . [image]local://upfiles/52896/DE581D050E54457288117F3D7BA5E264.jpg[/image] Any landing you can walk away from, right....GP Here, only with some help. A crane, a ladder . . . Maybe Mike can help here and state what the Navy people would say . . . Actually, if you look closely, you will see that the cockpit is empty. Sailors are smart enough to get out before ending up like this. [:D] During Desert Storm, we actually had a situation similar to this. An A-6E had a hydraulic system failure just after landing. No steering or brakes. Rolled slowly toward the edge of the deck at the waist catapults, the pilot an BN ejected and landed on the deck, and the plane rolled off the edge and caught on the catwalk, nose down. We ended up pushing it over to clear the way for other planes to land.
