3) Have you registered your game? (If so, you log into Members & you can get the patch).
4) What switches are you running?

Matrix / Slitherine have long been known for their superb customer service. They are-without fail-the best in the business at this. Post it there for the best effect.

As for your 'legendary' comment about THREADsters. You're right. We're mostly legends. In our own minds. [;)]

1) Yes.
2) No idea if the patched game will still work.
3) No.
4) What are switches? So I guess: None.
5) Yes, they are quite sure the installer was set to only run on newer OS. My Win 2K says "this is not a win 32 application", but I was told in fact it is.
So the problem is my ancient hamster-weel powered system.

Thank you! My office/work room is getting a major overhaul. Mrs. nashvillen calls it "my office" but it is more like my cave/playroom. It is lined with games/hobby stuff and has two workbenches and a computer desk along with a small HD TV. I spend a lot of time there, but I don't go out to a bar at night or run around with some guys, either. And, it is in the center of the house where everyone has access to me while I am there.

It just hasn't been "overhauled" in a couple of years and needs a good cleaning/reorganizing.
