I've changed all the entries in the campaign abs to increase the campaign to 8 days, but in the scenario editor the dates are still for 6 days. Can I change that?

Once you change campaign.txt you should see the correct number of 'date' boxes in the scenario editor.

Are you not seeing numbers for the dates? The strings are in \DATA\BASE\GUI.TXT. Look for the second that starts "Scenario Editor" and go down to the data after the last "HEAVY ARTILLERY" entry. The next 25 entries are the data strings. "06" to "12" are the stock game dates. You can add a caption "13" after the final common on next item after "12" if you want to have 8 days instead of 7.
