And a proposed lunch venue at nearby Doener Bistro so Herr Oberst doesn't go into Deutsche Speisen withdrawal. [;)]

That's really close. I'm about 15 miles west of Annapolis.

That's really far. I'm about 15,000 miles east of Wellington.

....15,000 seems a bit far...wot with nowhere in the world being more than about 12,400 from anywhere else on the surface of the planet....but I take your point :)

Ask the Enterprise to beam you to Frederick, MD. So far I counted five people, incl. myself. You're missing out on some interesting stuff most Americans might even never have heard off.

So, you can watch this one on Saturday and your spirit will be with us.

Klink, Oberst

P.S. The weather will be just perfect.

Greetings,

Looking forward to Herr Oberst's Staff-Ride at Monocacy on Saturday. I really need to know more about the Confederates third invasion of the North. And the first Southern victory in the North.

The c-span video is excellent-should be required viewing for all interested in military history.

Cheers, and lets plan for next year.

signed/Kunz

And as you can see we are patiently waiting for OPART version 4.1.

Excellent weather and Frederick was a generous host, the Monocacy was beautiful and the sites at the Tilted Kilt were wonderful !

Lobster -> RE: TOAW Meeting - April 11th, 2015 (4/12/2015 5:30:51 PM)

Judging by the photo I would say OPART V4.1 had better be out soon. We are getting more and more gray all the time.

ogar -> RE: TOAW Meeting - April 11th, 2015 (4/13/2015 9:21:47 PM)

I'm glad to see that everyone survived the staff ride -- I understand that the Oberst sets a brisk pace.

@Lobster,
When I read s653's comment about v4.1, I thought "You're going to need a lot more beer ?" OTOH, those guys may want more beer anyways.

sPzAbt653 -> RE: TOAW Meeting - April 11th, 2015 (4/30/2015 4:32:49 AM)

Hey Klink, how about a day of relaxing target practice at the range before you head back overseas ? [sm=00000036.gif]

Raver508 -> RE: TOAW Meeting - April 11th, 2015 (5/3/2015 7:59:03 AM)

Well you and I probably could :) And come to think of it I know another guy in Wellington who at least used to play some TOAW.

All up for it... Next week(end) I'll be in Ocean City though... Can manage afterwards and a visit to Otto's, too?
