Hyding -> 3.4x and 3.4xBb (4/14/2015 9:30:24 PM)

I have downloaded 3.4xBb before and I am just now using it for the first time.

I'm having trouble finding a link to 3.4x

I'm pretty certain these are not the same thing can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance guys.

My understanding is 3.4xBb is an interim patch to fix issues in 3.4.0.202, the latest 'official' version released by Matrix (though latest means 2011) here. Info on this here.

@Narses,

What GS and the Oberst wrote -
3xB is an UNOFFICAL mod replacing 3.4.0.202.

I think 3xB is a great fix to some of the problems with 3.4.

my two cents -
Install 3.4
make a clone account (just copy and paste the whole TOAW directory)
label the directories, and shortcuts, appropriately
in the cloned account, rename OpArt3.exe something like "Standard_Opart3"
place the 3xB exe in the same cloned directory where you renamed the opart3.

Now you have an account with 3xB, and a an account with the standard, unmodified exe (ready to use, or eventually upgrade to TOAW_whatever_version_comes next.

Thanks guys I had run across a reference to 3.4x which I do not have and can't seem to locate.

I have 3.4xBb

Again thanks

3.4x one can basically can refer to version 3.4+, e.g. 3.4.0.173 to 3.4.0.202 (latest official version).
