Good news soldiers!
Patch 1.0.5 is finally released and it’s huge!

A significant number of changes and improvements are brought to you upgrading the game to make it even more historically accurate: neutral Indians are passive (should stop them from besieging or interfering with USA/CSA units) and leaders of different nations, for the same side, don't compete in the same chain of command anymore!

Download this update now and improve turn resolution speed by at least 50%!

Be sure to check the entire changelog here

You can download the patch from here

Get more information about the game from its product page

Installed the 1.0.5 patch, loaded game, got to turn 3 and upon clicking on the next turn button the game crashed. Something about a "critical error". The game then rolled over to the menu.

screen shot the error, then look for log file or error file in the main game folder

Get an error using the Updater. Something about Counter_IND.png being in use?! Retry just gives the same error so I have to bypass that file. The game is certainly not open while I'm updating so the error makes no sense.

The initial 1.05 version left a debug flag set that will automatically give your officers a seniority of 1 and make them promotable. So if you have that problem you can go to the AGEOD Forums to pickup the quick fix 1.05a CW 1.05a Quick Fix

This quickfix has been distributed everywhere, including the auto updater and Steam. So just fire autoupdater.
