almost unplayable game
release hotfix
first patch
patch hotfix
multiplayer patch
modding tools released
download community patch
download several gigabytes of 3rd party addons, half of which cause constant crashes
spend a month doing nothing but optimising your game setup
AMAZING GAME!...when does the next patch come out?

(Of course this isn't a dig at C:MANO, the strategy game that has rendered my entire collection of strategy games obsolete - I HADNT EVEN PLAYED SOME OF THEM YET YOU £$^^&^RS! - this is a dig at "normal" games)

Yeah, but there are also positive examples of nowadays games like CMANO, "Wargame: Airland Battle", "Kerbal Space Program" and many more...

Besides, in nowadays some Developers selling Game without graphic for more than 90$[:'(]

Although I think that Wargame has now become the COD of RTS, I highly agree with Airland Battle and KSP! [;)]

CoD of RTSs is a little harsh, but I know what you mean...
