BillSirKill -> Attach Message log to Map also Group fuel (4/25/2015 2:01:31 PM)

Sorry if this is in another thread....

I was playing a fast action scenario... came up with a thought...

Is it possible to create a link between a message and the map - Example:
Message:
1:11:29 PM - Contact: BOGEY #265 has been classified as: F-16C Blk 42 Falcon [Peace Vector II Upgr] - Determined as: Hostile (Classification by: 10 Sqd AB #1 [Sensor: AN/ALQ-142] at Estimated 74 nm)

Click on the time stamp in the message log --- the cursor zooms to the position on the Map of the event.

---
Group fuel: I have read in other posts that you are working on displaying the shortest fuel limit for the groups -- are we getting close to implementation?

As ALWAYS -- appreciate the great work -- wonderful sim

Hi Bill

Play with popups and there is a button on the popup that focus in on what it reported.

Group fuel: Still working on it. Real estate problem

Thanks for the reply mike...

But the pop up are too frequent is a fast paced game...

I was hoping for a click on a message in the log that would bring you to the specific location

I don't want to see a pop up for every vampire.. however, if I'm miles away and see something of interest - click and bingo... it's centered..

Just a thought

Thought that was on the feature poll, indeed it is, just looked. Only 5 votes, but at the time that went up there were more pressing things that got all the votes I think.
I'd love this as well, imagine it'd be easy if everyone used the log on screen, but more difficult with all the people that use separate log window on multiple monitors etc.
