I have a Canadian oil resources that will not route via the default route through the Faeroes Gap, but always goes through the Bay of Biscay. There are three unused convoys there and perhaps not coincidentally there happen to be 3 Danish convoys (Denmark conquered - but shipping went to the CW) in the Faeroes Gap as well. I'm not sure if that is the source of the issue, i.e.the program will not allow the resources to utilize the Danish convoy's. I'll insert three pictures showing the computed path, the default path and the convoys in the Faeroes Gap.

To get this right you have to right click on the line stating "East Coast" in the "Route" window.

Than left click on the East Coast, North Atlantic and double left click on the Faroes Gap in the window where the convoys are.

If you hit recompute, this route is being used.

This is the way to force a resource to use an overseas path you want it to be transported on.

I have done that. If you open the game file and check the computed and the default paths you will notice that the default is through the Faeroes Gap but the computed is not. Pressing recompute does not make it correct. It is like the game will not utilize the Danish convoys that are in the Faeroes Gap.

I downloaded your game and checked it. It's working correctly in the version I'm using at the moment. So I'm at a loss here what is going wrong at your side.

What does the Computed view say? And are there only 2 unused convoys in the Faeroes Gap or still 3?

I did check. There were 2 unused convoy points in the Faroes Gap at that time.

You have to make sure that both the Default and the Override are cleared, before making the change.
