RockKahn -> Cursor disappearing (4/28/2015 1:37:56 PM)

When I save a game and press the Enter key with the Save button highlighted in the dialog box, my cursor disappears. If I have a unit selected, I can simply press the Escape key and the cursor reappears. If a unit is not selected when I save, getting the cursor back is a little more difficult. I have to Alt-Tab, or do some other things like Alt-Ctl-Delete, then press Escape key to get it back.

If I click the Save button in the dialog, everything works correctly.

That's strange. We had one other report like this and I couldn't reproduce it. I'll see if I can force the cursor to display after the save-game procedure.

I've had this happen to me also. If I enter the save game dialogue box, when I come back out, I have no cursor. Had to alt-tab out and back in to get it back.

maybe a windows 8.1 or driver issue more than a gaming code one, as if alt tabbing out and back in got it back, then tbh it wasn't missing in the first place and welcome to the wonderful world of windows and strange errors, if it can't be reproduce, then it can't also be fixed, and just another one of those hardware and software issues that happens, for me run as admin in the shortcut can or normally fixes little problems like this, or altering the properties and making it run in compatibility mode, which alters dpi, memory use and also other none standard stuff that some game need and others don't use etc

my simple guide is here, but nets fully of them also tbh,

good luck and hope it sorts it 4u[;)]

I get the same problem running Windows 7 64 bit, so definitely not limited to Windows 8.

then at least you would see if it would work for you as well, one way or another you have little to lose other than a few seconds of time, and can always alter it back, link above has guide
