Dominicia -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (6/8/2015 2:25:49 PM)

Where I can find some nice tutorial for fast learning? :)

zakblood -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (6/8/2015 3:07:37 PM)

giffin -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (6/12/2015 3:07:33 PM)

Any news on how Beta Testers are doing on this game?

zakblood -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (6/12/2015 4:28:22 PM)

once a beta is on little news will come out from them, as if they do they will be kicked off, so unless developer wants to chip in, it will be quite until over for a guess[8|][;)]

Cool, thanks for letting me know :)

Sure is quite no word on how the game is working form Beta group or devs.

Gerry4321 -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (7/20/2015 6:24:52 PM)

Do we know if beta testing has started?

Peter Fisla -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (7/21/2015 12:03:54 PM)

Beta started since beginning of June

Gerry4321 -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (7/21/2015 12:21:09 PM)

Thanks Peter.

I was hoping you would end with "and will finish on ....".

Any chance of more details or more screenshots?

Thanks,.

Gerry

Peter Fisla -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (7/21/2015 1:01:40 PM)

I'm hoping to wrap up the beta test program by the end of August, assuming things will go well of course.

Gerry4321 -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (7/21/2015 1:25:24 PM)

Best of luck.

Gerry4321 -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (7/27/2015 4:30:45 PM)

Peter:

A few questions for you.

1. Is there a campaign included in the game?
2. I was really hoping for multi-level buildings. They matter in both the rural and urban contexts. I notice you have multiple levels of hills so maybe you will add the buildings in a patch?
3. Any chance of having it so the ATG and Vehicle counters can rotate to face in their actual direction?

Really impressed with the breadth of the game (East Front and a lot of West Front). Not many games do this today.

Gerry

Elron Hubbub -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (8/1/2015 3:18:12 PM)

I would like to see a 'podcast' or video showing the play action.

I like CM and also PCO but the play gets bogged down in overly complicated planning or cludgey orders. I would like a quick intuitive fun wargame that I can complete in a reasonable amount of time.

Thanks

1. Campaign is really a long scenario.
2. Implementing Multi-story buildings is really challenging to do right, the game rules, interface as well as AI. Perhaps in the future expansion(s).
3. Sorry, game counters don't rotate

Thank goodness for that! [:)]

I can't hardly wait....thank goodness for that!

How is the Beta testing Peter its end of August and we are ready for this game?

Gerry4321 -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (9/5/2015 7:11:53 PM)

Any news at all?

locusmaximus -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (9/13/2015 1:57:32 PM)

How will this game differ from John Tiller's Squad Battles?

KEYSTONE0795 -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (9/14/2015 1:56:15 PM)

Since the game hasn't been released, there is no way to tell. I like Squad Battles. If this new design borrows some features from Squad Battles it should be a good game.

Tigers on the Hunt is inspired by ASL boardgame; tough both of the games have top down graphics design and game scale.

Yes still in beta testing, need to fix bug or two and then I think all I have to do is update the manual. It's getting there guys but I have been busy lately with my day job so much that when I get home my brain is fried and I don't have enough brain power to do game programming. I'm hoping to finish beta testing within a month or two.

Elron Hubbub -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (9/25/2015 6:46:35 PM)

Will there be a demo?

I'm sorry but no, I'm one man development team and I simply don't have the resources to create a demo.

Elron Hubbub -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (10/23/2015 6:59:43 PM)

Maybe an open beta.

budd -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (10/24/2015 12:04:03 AM)

I don't believe this game exists...no forum in the in development section, no forum in the coming soon section...in beta...yea right.

that was tongue in cheek folks[;)] .....but really shouldn't this game have a forum?

It does seem strange...........

Peter Fisla -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (10/31/2015 12:54:57 PM)

I'm finishing up work on the manual, kind of HOW-TO section where I explain how to move a personnel stack, how to fire support weapon, ordnance, vehicle etc. So yes, it's coming; the game is essentially done and beta tested. Scenarios are done, tutorial videos are currently being made and manual is almost there. Waiting for the game box art, that will need to be added into the game.[:)]

budd -> RE: Tigers on the Hunt needs true wargamers for beta! (10/31/2015 1:21:25 PM)

that far along makes it that more surprising no forum of its own. looking forward to learning more about the game.
