I'm beginning the US campaign and the first scenario Pearl harbor lists secondary objectives:

1. Visit primary VPs to activate AA Guns
2. Visit airfields to activate fighter aircraft

I've "visited" (clicked on) every VP and airfield on the map and I don't see any aircraft and no AA guns appear. Do they randomly appear or am I supposed to do something to trigger them to appear. Help!

You have to move a unit to and stop on the objective. Not sure if you are driving through it or not. And it must be a ground unit (either the jeep or an AA gun that spawns after the jeep enters an objective hex).

Hint: use the spawned AA guns to activate nearby objective hexes while the jeep blitzes around the map. The jeep cannot do it all by itself with the limited number of turns.

You can drive through the objective hex and it still activates the units linked with it...you don't have to stop there.
