tacfire -> Oil Reorganization Bug (6/8/2015 4:07:08 PM)

I have a repeatable bug in the attached game. The bug is repeatable for both version 1.4.1 and version 1.3.3.

The problem is that when Italy tries to reorganize its units with oil, the game does not finish up using one oil resource at a time.
It uses multiple oil resources partially.

My grand campaign game is now stuck.
I can not advance it further unless Italy spends a lot of oil resources for reorganizing units that should only require 2 oil points.

To repeat this bug, just try to reorganize an Italian unit from the Trieste Oil resource in the attached game file.

Here is a screen shot of the problem

You can get by this, I just did in both 1.3.3 and the current beta

The problem is that the Alagheila Synth does not show in the list and you can't get it to do so until you highlight Graziani. Even then you can't select any others to use. In actuality the list is off by one so when you think you are on FREX Salonika, the program is really on Athens.

So what I did was press the Reorganize All button. This will expend Alagheila and .6 of the Athens one. Then click on Expend oil point. It will tell you it expended Salonika but in fact when you look at the map afterwards, it is Athens that is gone. Now you can click on OK-Done and move on.

I think this bug is caused by the fact there is no supply path to North Africa and yet the program wants to use Alagheila first. Or it is something to do with it being a Synth on a coastal hex - IIRC there's been problems with those. Or it is both of those...

You end up using the synth and one saved oil which is correct for 1.6 oil dependent units. And Graziani uses point 6 by himself and can trace to Alagheila so it actually turns out to be correct for your situation although yes there's definitely a bug with processing individual units and using specific oil choices to subtract from.
