it is only me who thing after t2 (and mayby t3) all new terminators started downhill ride in terms of storywriting and just become visual orgys (with no real value).

Nope. I enjoyed Rise of the Machines. That was pretty creative playing in-line with the Sarah Connor Chronicles.
