Working on a few little edits to the 1943 Campaign and noticed a couple of potential problems with the Editor.

1. Moving HQ's around - Tried cutting and pasting Air HQ's and putting them a more logical (for me) order. While this appears to work OK with Ground HQ's, with Air HQ's all of the subordinate air units remain attached to the old slot. If I move Tactical Air Force from slot 01852 to slot 01826 directly under Med Allied Air Force, all of its subordinate air unit remain attached to the now empty slot 01852. Inserting blank rows does not seem to be a problem. When I insert six rows above slot 01852, the Air units are now attached to slot 01858. Deleting rows works also.

2. Reattaching Air Units. When I reattach Air Units using the Air Group tab everything goes fine. That can be a little tedious when reassigning 20-30 units, so I thought I'd go to the map, reattach the Air base to the Air Command I want and then use the Set Air Group HQ. Problem now is when I go to the game, those air units I changed via the Air Base screen now show as already having their HQ changed that turn. For a scenario I change and I play that is not a problem. If I were to send/post it, a player who wanted to change the HQ for those Air units would need to wait until turn 2. Really only a minor inconvenience.

Oh, I'm using the 44beta.

Yes - the editor can be a bit fickle.

1. That's because the air groups point at the slot not the Air HQ. With adding/deleting you move slots. The trick to save time is to move the Air HQ to it's new destination by adding and deleting slots not copy/paste.

2. There is already a task on the list to clear any attachment restrictions when you save the scenario.
