SMK-at-work -> Question about +50 distance hexes (7/15/2015 9:21:35 PM) What effects do these have on combat? It looks like they effectively prevent it from my limited experience (a few cases after the USSR got crushed in EA)??

Curtis Lemay -> RE: Question about +50 distance hexes (7/15/2015 11:03:21 PM) They affect bombardment ranges. An air unit with a range of 75 hexes would have to be within 25 hexes to bombard such hexes. If in them, it would only be able to attack out to 25 hexes.

SMK-at-work -> RE: Question about +50 distance hexes (7/15/2015 11:11:29 PM) Thanks - I hadn't noticed that so much as there is also some effect on land combat - I've had combats at thousands-to-1 ratio that have inflicted essentially zero casualties on both sides.
