I think some one should make a add on to distant worlds, that takes all the data and sends it to another computer. In the other computer you can take control of a fleet, in 3d and fight joystick style agasint the computer. That would be beyond bad ass. Then add in a fps for ground attacks. Kinda like they did for eve online. Just for distant worlds. I would buy 3 computers to do that lol.

Personally, I'd love to see it go the other way. Eve already has ship-controlled combat and now ground-based FPS. I've love to see a real-time 4x game set in the Eve universe. Then again, why go through all the trouble of making a new game when Distant Worlds can just be modded :)
