The AI is "so-so". My experience with it is that it seems to start out strong and then falls off the longer play goes on. The reason it seems strong to start with is it starts with cavalry, infantry, and artillery. What I have found is when you kill off the AI's artillery and cavalry, it does not rebuild them. The AI just keeps building a lot of infantry which is easy to destroy with a combined arms approach. The game is fun regardless and has given me many hours of enjoyment. Once you whittle the AI army down to just infantry, the AI's weakness is exposed. Another thing I had found was the AI never sent Napoleon to any of the battles it fought against me. The AI stuck it's best General in a city in Austria (which had surrendered and was no longer in the war) and left him there for years on end until I marched there with the Russians to attack him. Anyway, I hope that gives you a glimpse into the answer you are looking for. -Jason
