tohapply -> Would you ditch your favorite game for 1 million? (8/4/2015 9:38:33 AM)

Games (video, computer and mobile) are something people would hate to give up. According to Newzoo, Gaming will hit $91.5 billion this year. How much would it take for you give up your favorite game for an entire year?

Leading mobile casino, LeoVegas, conducted an independent survey to investigate how much people would have to be paid in order to give up some of their most prized possessions.
mobile phone : Over a third (34%) of Brits say they wouldn’t give up their mobile phone for a year for anything less than £50,000
lovers: over 33% of Brits said they'd agree to give up their loved one less than £50,000. Of that 33 per cent, 14 per cent said it would take just £500 to dump their partner for 365 days, with no guarantee of getting them back after being spurned.
pets: pets are amongst the most precious possessions, with nearly 1 in 4 of British adults (24 per cent) saying they couldn’t go without seeing their furry friend for a year unless they were paid at least £500,000.
games: Over 1 in 5 of us (21%) would have to be paid over £50,000 to go without them for a year.

easy 5,000. Prob even 500!

Now ask me about giving up my PC altogether for a year..then it would have to be a decent amount of money say 10,000 maybe more..

Give it up for good...then not sure I would for any money..as it's my main enjoyment in life.

Mobile Phone - I would never give it up as I use mine for music, internet etc.

Pets - When I've had one they become part of the family, so I wouldn't give one up either.

Games - Not sure I could give them up for a year, but certainly for £1 million I'd give up a favourite game for the year.

for £1 million I'd give up, the wife, an arm, all my games, and tbh all i own, silly question and too much money for most, when we don't see that sort of cash in a lifetime, not in mine anyway[;)]

Screwy priorities in life, if you asked me. Of course I'd give up my favorite game for a year for a million dollars. With all the want and deprivation in the world, I'd turn around and give most of that away as a way of helping others. Just to give up a game for a year? Please. You could do so much good with that money at such little personal cost. [8|]

Now this in no way precludes me from hanging out and leering at the Australian Beauties thread, does it?

Better question...would you give up all your games except 1 for a year?
For me, for a mil? Hell yeah...it'll finally give me / force me to learn and play WITP-AE :)

5,000 or even less to give up my favorite game for a year, easy.
And it might be the best thing I ever did too [;)]

(Only a drone would give it up for a low or no price. The world does need such personalities to clean the catacombs & aquaducts but their plight brings me to tears). [:'(]

Is this on the level? I mean cash up front no questions asked?

I can deliver Mrs Warspite1 cash on delivery. £50,000..... or nearest offer frankly... hell I haven't got time to be haggling - £500 cash and she's all yours. Where do I make the drop?

I need to see a photo of the merchandise before I cough up the quid. [:D]

Warspite1

I don't think you understand. Do you think I would be willing to take £500 if her ladyship's picture would stand up to scrutiny?

The offer is £500 up front or the deal if off...

..... would you take £250?
