I think this has been covered before, but I could not find it. When I scroll around the map, I get a white flashing or flickering. It does not effect game play but it is annoying.

My computer: Pent3, Windows7, Geforce 7600GT video card.

Is there a fix or setting to adjust?

Does this happen all the time, every time you play the game, from one separate play session to another -- in a word, invariably?

Yes, it's all of the time.

Other than your fiddling with your video card's driver settings, or futzing with Windows compatibility modes (right click on the game .exe file in Windows Explorer), there's nothing else I can suggest.

Maybe not incidentally, what is your Windows version? And what is your video card? You are up to date on your video card's drivers, of course?

According to the Readme:

'In Vista™ if you experience an issue with the scrolling refresh during the game please go to the Properties of each shortcut and put a check in the box next to “Disable desktop composition” to resolve this issue'.

That should fix the problem
