Well I re-installed even though the game is borked in the head with supply. I've had a secret theory that this game would only be finished by the time the world ends.

Anyway things that are bugged

Nanjing in China. Roll us entry and see the game crash with no report
Offensive Chits, movement after combat. Neat to see units which cannot even advance even thought they participated in combat.
Naval Combat - Seems to ignore this rule

11.6

After your side has resolved combat in all their selected sea areas, any major power on the other side can try to initiate combat (see 11.5.2) in any other sea areas your side moved a non-SUB unit into or within (but not through) in your naval air missions step or your naval movement step. Your opponents can't pick an area that has already been selected this impulse.
Your opponent simply points to areas, one by one, and, in each of them, turns a unit face-down and follows the sequence in 11.5.1. If a unit your opponent turned face-down during the naval movement step in an interception attempt (see 11.4.6) is still in the sea area, he or she can attempt to start a naval combat there without turning another unit over.

I've encountered the naval intercept bug as well. It seems to happen (at least in the instances where I noticed it happening) only when you flip the last (or only) face up unit during the intercept phase. If there are other face up units still left then naval search proceeds according to the rules, with no additional unit being flipped. Most likely the game is skipping over sea areas with no face up enemy units before checking to see if one of the face down units was flipped for interceptions.

That's important information. Thanks.

This is correct, 2 Italian subs were at sea, the first was disrupted by a search in the phasing impulse, and the second was flipped and intercepted tons of shipping in Cape St. Verde. Rolled about 6 intercepts, avoided 3, and succeeded in none. However, I should have been able to search during the naval combat phase.

You clarified what I suspected, but had no proof of.

Well done Zartacla; I find it interesting that you've transformed from a forum pariah (IMO, not general option BTW), to an, apparently respected bug tester. I seen Steve actually respond to your posts. I've become certain that he presses the button and ignores me. I once was about to post that I could find 10 different bugs in 10 hours, but, alas, deaf ears would await that effort. Instead I relented to the weeping of my opponent and am playing the game with no general plan, big hairy bugs and all. At times, it's good, but often it's a horrible monster. The use of Naval Surprise is exceptionally difficult for the player to manage. Most of the options you plan to use, show up in later forms, where you hope upon hope, that you click correctly, and remember exactly how many surprise points you will need in the future form(s) to save.

May I say to both gentlemen that I think that yes, you both can be somewhat of a nuisance, but you are both respected by me for the continuous effort you are making.

And I believe the rest of the beta team thinks exactly the same about this.

Neither Mr. Zartacla nor Mr. Zorachus99 are considered to be Pariahs...

And if you two find bugs, post it. Sometimes it's soo difficult to recreate things, since there are so many different options and circumstances surrounding a bug...

Bump.
