Holy s...! Wow!

Great job! Those guns might not be 18.1 inch diameter, but they just might be 18.1 inches long. [:D]

Local newspaper coming down for a photo layout and article?

Rising-Sun -> RE: OT yamato (8/16/2015 8:29:14 AM)

Look wonderful, hope he doesn't leave it outside to rot. Would be cool making that thing a floating radio control ship and special effects on the waters.

1275psi -> RE: OT yamato (8/16/2015 10:34:43 AM)

Hi rising son
Its a 1275psi project, otherwise known on these forums as herbiesan (the little ship that could)
Entirely scratch built
12 foot long. radio controlled, and definitely garaged!

warspite1 -> RE: OT yamato (8/16/2015 10:58:48 AM)

JocMeister -> RE: OT yamato (8/16/2015 11:03:30 AM)

That is incredible! [X(]

When you say "scratch built" does that mean you fabricated the pieces yourself?

Just about the coolest total waste of time that I have ever seen.[;)] Beautiful job. What will you do with it. Donate it to a museum or just keep it in the living room?

oaltinyay -> RE: OT yamato (8/16/2015 1:24:25 PM)

that's one of the most impressive things I have ever seen.

you Americans have too much time and money to spare :)

dr.hal -> RE: OT yamato (8/16/2015 1:32:46 PM)

Why did you choose the Yamato?

T Rav -> RE: OT yamato (8/16/2015 1:36:40 PM)

You didn't need OT. You couldn't be more on topic! When does it go on tour so we can all get a look?

Now he has to build a scale model of a Japanese shipyard. [;)]

warspite1 -> RE: OT yamato (8/16/2015 7:29:16 PM)

A few questions please 1275psi

- How long did she take to build?
- What was she made from?
- How much does she weigh?
- How do you transport her around?
- How much do you reckon she cost you in raw materials?
- I hope you have this work of art insured!!

She is just amazing!!

Yaab -> RE: OT yamato (8/16/2015 7:31:31 PM)

Sadly, it will only take 10 destroyed drones to sink this beautiful ship. More AA, always more AA...

sven6345789 -> RE: OT yamato (8/16/2015 7:34:31 PM)

My respect!

Great piece of art!

What scale is this?

geofflambert -> RE: OT yamato (8/16/2015 7:59:58 PM)
