Can anyone tell me how to pronounce "AGEOD"?

Is it "Agey-odd"? "Age-odd"? "Age - oh dee"?

I own a number of their titles, so I really should know this.[8|]

Also, I know that "AGE" stands for "Adaptive Game Engine". What does the "OD" part of the name signify?
