HaughtKarl -> Radio callsigns for retired aircraft? (9/17/2015 4:24:52 AM)

I've been digging around for aircraft radio callsigns and so far I found this site (http://www.the-guide.nl/callsign/split/a/) but it only has callsigns for active aircraft. I'm looking for older stuff like A6's, F14's, A7's, etc. Anyone have a link handy? I'd like to use realistic radio callsigns instead of grabbing stuff I remember from Beavis and Butthead.

AFAIK they tend to cycle through the same call signs regardless of actual aircraft, with a few small and generally well known exceptions (often AWACS and tankers).

Here are some sites:

What he said. Callsigns are often squadron specific. So if you identify if the unit of F-14s for example you want to use is still flying today, it is a reasonable bet that their current Super Hornet specific callsign is still applicable.
