I need a little help understanding this. It seems straight forward but I can find no info.

In the pic the base has 10 x hanger (8x VL a/c). Does this mean it can handle 80 VL a/c?

It also says 1x open parking (8x VL a/c). So ignoring runways this would be 88 in total?

Does 1x VL a/c equate to 2x medium a/c?

Yes at airbases and hangars by carriers:

1 place very large aircraft
Is good for ca. 2 medium or ca. 3 little aircrafts

But only in this way.

You cannot use 2x little hangar for one big bird
