Combat experience is taken into account by having different platoons available, for instance in Israeli Platoon22.oob:
P222015 6 9 9 33 <snip> Rifle Platoon 71 A(FN) , Rifle 71 A(FN) ,
P222013 6 8 8 35 <snip> Rifle Platoon 71 B(FN) , Rifle 71 B(FN) ,
P222014 6 7 7 40 <snip> Rifle Platoon 71 C(FN) , Rifle 71 C(FN) ,
The first parameters after the 6-digit Platoon ID are Strength, Assault, Defence, Fire Cost. You can observe for instance the A-level infantry being much more effective than the C-level infantry.
