MaB1708 -> "Destroyed 'damaged'"? (10/2/2015 6:09:15 PM)

Gentlemen,
while I am struggling to come to terms with WitE, its rules and its calculations there is still a lot where the numbers in "losses screen", "battle report (F11)" etc do not seem to add up.
One first question: what is the additional number in parenthesis I get when "destroyed 'damaged'" is checked in the detailed battle report?

Thanks!

Martin

These are elements which were damaged prior the destruction.

Destroyed means the units/element is gone.

Damaged means the element is currently combat inoperative and may be destroyed. You unit makes a roll each turn for damaged elements with modifiers and based on that roll the element is either repaired or lost.

It may even just stay damaged but not sure on that.

Just know that being in good supply and not in an enemy zoc along with having higher experience levels all lowers permanent losses of damaged elements.

Thank you both!

Sorry, follow-up q: you mean elements that have already entered the battle in damaged state, right?
Elements that would have shown up in the unit detail window as damaged before the action was started?
