Seems to be a minor bug with paths to the background music files. When I enable background music to play, I get the music from East Front, not Middle East. It's pretty amusing to hear Prussian marches and Russian patriotic music playing with Israelis and Jordanians duking it out!
I'm not sure if this is impacting other sounds; given that all of them seem to be installed in the Sounds folder, it may be.
I have my copy of the game installed at D:\Matrix Games\Campaign Series Middle East. I had to explicitly path the Unit Viewer to deal with the game not being installed on C:. I'm guessing this is a similar issue but one where I can't just change a text file to point to the correct install location.
