The Last Talonsoft was the Gold Edition for 98/XP. It has all three games and runs well. I am investing in an another XP because I have so many games that won't convert. I've been rebuying them all for Windows 7 Pro. It's running into money. I keep a 95 and 98 working for old games and the XP version won't work on either. 98 version won't work on anything newer than XP as far as I know, so the 95 version would be really tough. I don't think the video card in your 10 would work with it. I had to step into the brave new world of the Matrix Edition for the second time. I think they have had it eight years? Can't remember. The old Talonsofts were load and play though others have said they had problems-I did not have one with any Talonsoft versions. I would not give yourself a hard time getting the 95 version to work. It played, but stick with the new version. It's come a long way and it's a better game. One more upgrade is planned I think. Middle East is great-few bugs, but it's really great also. I may buy an XP and load the old one for kicks, but the new game is miles better. The Aachen scenario is a masterpiece and you will use about everything an army has to win it. The engineers alone are extremely important and for about everything. It's a blast blowing up walls and easily building bridges (relatively). The combat engineers have come such a long way. Do you really want to go through trying to find the damn boats or rafts on the engineer vehicles? It was a pain. I was the hardest to convert but man has Jason worked hard on HAL over the years. I think everyone is running it fine (The Matrix Version that includes Windows 7) on Windows 10 from what I've heard. I was hard to convert and a pain in poor Jason's backside. Last game, I played 80 turns of flawless running game. If you find a bug, Jason can usually fix it for you. I was missing the Aachen Map. Sent a zip to me an hour later. Boom. Playing. The T-Gold Ed for 98/XP included Sea Lion and the works. Best running of the older ones and you did not have to load the disc, as with 95.
