ORIGINAL: Ostwindflak I have seen War in Europe and War in the East on boardgamegeek. I have not played either, but I own A World At War, another monster board game by GMT. Just want to know if they play similar as far as mechanics or if they are drastically different Twotribes. Would you know by chance? I don't own A World at War but I do have CWIE. After reviewing Boardgame Geek's info on World at War, I think I can definitely say that they are drastically different approaches. CWIE is really a pretty "dated" game in comparison. I haven't done much with it actually. MadGamer and I were going to play a game, but I think he lost interest in it as well. Frankly, I'd recommend Grigsby's War in the East and War in the West... much more "historical"... CWIE is pretty abstract with no unit ID on the bland counters. Hope this helps.
