Nice write.
Where is the 120 page manual?
Mine got 320 pages.

And you forgot to mention the budgies in the background of the videos. [:D]

Ach, you right. It's 320 pages. Old eyes at work again.

Hi Jim, good to hear from you. Since like me you started wargaming in 1962, that probably means you were playing Avalon Hill's Blitzkrieg or Gettysburg.I am not sure what my first computer wargame was, maybe Tigers in the Snow or GG's first game (I forgot the title...).Clash of Steel came a bit later.

Moltke71 -> RE: My First Look (11/27/2015 11:29:00 PM)

My first wargame was the Milton Bradly Civil War game. I discovered AH my freshman year in college. My first computer game was SSI's sub/destroyer game for the Apple IIe - so old I don't remember the game and it's not listed.

My first games was AH's Afrika Korps. I still have it! Back then they were distributed by 3M? I'm 73 and still gaming....

ahh mine too and my older brother had a civil war game with flat plastic pieces that i barely remember. had
counters for army, navy, and infantry IIRC but don't remember the name of that game...would have been late
50's...the gunboats i believe were triangular.
