Howdy.

Does anyone know of a good source for line drawings for various platforms that I could add to the database. The platforms from the United States are well represented... the rest of the nations are not.

You like something like this?

I make a collection and uploaded some parts here but the size of all images is too big.

http://www.the-blueprints.com/ is probably the best online resource for blueprints, but is a commercial site that caters to professional artists and they charge for high quality versions of the blueprints or vetor files. Despite that they still have 1000s of ship or aircraft blueprints for free and probably have most of what you are looking for if the smaller/lower quality images are acceptable.

I seem to recall another site that specialised in ship blueprints, but can't find it now or remember the name...

Rather than 'base drawing' of diagrams, why not using silhouette design? It saves quite a lot of time by just drawing the outline of weaponries. The real life pictures and text references can do the rest:

Even if they are OVERSIZED, with even the simplest software, they can be resized.
I have resized a NUMBER of photos.

What you show is fine to me.
I am not fussy.

I am not sure just WHY I prefer line drawings, I just do.
Thank you for taking time to answer.
