Gonna pay for it? Highly relevant question. If it is just about changing color schemes and fonts to make the main map look like a flag plot/DRT navigational plot or a ROTOR style situation map, and the "ready aircraft" screen to look like a backwards-written grease-pen-on-glass display, such a mod might be worth $5 - $10 based on how good it looks. Same amount again for another reskin looking like a SAGE blue room or early NTDS display system. So yes, in my view you could monetize that. The other extreme would be to use your current simulation system as a backend and build an entirely new display system on top, e.g., a 688(I) or Aegis GotF style game using Command as the game engine. It would run the same scenarios as Command (where applicable), and scenario developers would use the same scenario editor, but the user would interact with the scenario in a completely different way. That would be en entirely new game that could be prized accordingly. Something in between might also work, just thinking out loud here. I would not expect to get an entirely new look-and-feel for free.
