This game has the best, most informative manual of all the Ageod games. And I have all the others.
Very clear, informative, and helpful. I learned things about the system that were new to me, even thought I have much experience with these games.

The video tutorials are clear, well done, and a great way to be introduced to the game.

If you want to learn the Ageod system, this game is the one to get. In fact, this may be the very best of the Ageod games, and is one of the best games I have ever played.

The only wish I would have about the videos is please talk slower. Sadly a bi product of today's fast food throw away age.

What manual? I bought the DX version (so the box states), which arrived today with a disc but no manual. The Matrix product page for the game has been changed to not show different versions. What's going on?

you should be able to access the manual(s) from the game launcher? At least thats an electronic version.

I don't believe the DX version comes with a printed manual.

I don't remember if it was DX, EX or FX (and the Matrix site no longer displays different versions of the game, so I can't check), the version I ordered was advertised as having a printed manual. Does this mean that all Matrix games now come only with a cyber manual? If so, they should advertise it.

The current price is the same as I paid the day the game was released, but I order physical copies not just for the disc, but a printed manual. Disappointed.

Depends on the game. War in the West and Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa come with snazzy hard-bound manuals, but I don't think WoN does come with any form of a printed version. Maybe I'm wrong? CW II came with a printed color manual in the boxed edition, so I could very well be wrong.I do have other boxed versions of Matrix games that only came with a DVD in the case, so it may not be in error if that happened to you. I just purchased the digital version this time around, so I might be talking out of my bum here.

Update: AGEod's webshop has the old layout, and it's clearly shown as "Digital Express", defined as "Digital Express Edition: This edition comes with a full color printed box, full color printed DVD (with your order number and serial number printed on it) and a PDF E-Book indexed manual." No printed manual, I'm afraid.

Thanks for the info, gexmex. I was so happy to see the game released that I didn't read the fine print. My fault [sm=00000028.gif] .

Does the game have the standard scripted tutorials, too, or just the video tutorials?

I often learn better by reading and then doing an action, rather than just watching videos.

I'm sure the videos are superb, and I will definitely learn from them. I just appreciate the standard scripted step-by-step tutorials as well.

Thanks!
