I’m not too much interested in diplomacy / building / development.
What are the major improvements compared with campaigns of napoleon regarding the
operational level of moving / supplying and fighting with my troops?

I found with the original that speed of movement/province size was completely frustrating. It was too easy to reduce a force to nil cohesion simply as it would take 2-3 turns to move one province. This is now far better balanced.

I've done most of the shorter campaigns and there are essentially the same as the original (to some extent this is to be expected - basically the same OOB and key parts of the game engine are the same). But the overall game engine has been significantly improved so even in the shorter scenarios you gain from speed of processing, easier scrolling, and new rules like the traffic penalty.

I got so fed up with the old NCP that after a few games (AI and PBEM), I just gave up and deleted it from my computer. This one is completely addictive.

I never bought NCP. I wanted the whole enchilada. And with WoN, I got it.
