Tiger88_slith -> How do you remove something from Generic Mod Enabler? (12/12/2015 3:46:29 PM)

Love all the new stuff and patch thus far!

Question - how do I remove a mod from the enabler that is grayed out due to over-written files from the patch?

I get this error message: "Box Art UI" cannot be disabled as " CSME 1.01 Graphics Preview 001" has overwritten files and must be removed first.

The mod is grayed out so I cannot move it back over into the mods side of the enabler.

Thanks so much!

Hello Tiger 88!

Some mods change the same files as already been changed by another mod already in place.

In this case you must first remove the mod you put in last. Then, you can remove the one you put earlier.

Then, if needed, you can put the latter one in place again.

It is done so the file integrity would be safe.

Hope this helps. If not please provide a screen shot and I will help you out!

The tell tale is when you activate a mod, it tells you there's already some files changed by an earlier mod.

In this case, my AIW mod has changed the 2d unit profiles and now that I am trying to put in the Black 2D Unit profiles mod that touches the same files, I first get a warning...

And upon continuing by clicking Yes the earlier mod (AIW) is grayed, and I need to deactive Black Unit Profiles first:
