lordhoff -> Suggestions for New Games? (12/14/2015 1:40:07 AM)

It'd be a good idea to have this (a specific place for design suggestions) as games would be developed based on user feedback. My suggestion is that there are no good historically accurate pirate games. A good basis would be the Avalon Hill (or maybe it was Victory Games) board game called (I believe) "Blackbeard" so the wheel would not have to be completely reinvented. Things like advantages to small ships like being able to use coastal waters, rivers to hide, etc, speed and fire power accuracy, cleaning the hull, proper time line, proper land ownership (I've seen some who were 100 years too early, had named pirates from 200 years after the time frame of the game, and had the colonial holdings all wrong. I really think a game of this sort would go over quite well.
