On the first turn of the 1943 Campaign (Allies) I took -42 ''Other Loss VPs''.
I wonder what causes those negative VPs, I can't find any reference about it on the manual.
I assume that ''US Loss VPs'' would referes to US casualties, is that correct?

I believe that "Other Loss VP" are VP's for losses incurred by Non-US troops (British, Canadian, etc).
"US Loss VP" is indeed points lost by the Allies for US casualties.

Didn't you lose some airborne units?

no, all the airborne where still on their bases

The game starts with a number of disabled men in the pool. Some of those get written off as unable to fight, which counts under the 'killed' column. Those give vps to the Axis.
They are aware of these points and have taken them into account for the final victory.
